If I only had one resolution this year- it would be to provide you with more relevant information to help you on your wellness journey. Because I’m an admitted ‘control freak’, I’d love to single handedly do all the things. But, I realize my limitations and am so excited to have a contributor to the Be Well, Sis blog! V.P. of Wellbeing

About Valerie
Valerie N. Pogue, BSN, RN, MPH, CCWS ( Sis is educated, educated!!)
She is a 3-time graduate of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, where she studied Public Health and Nursing.
She is a Registered Nurse and Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist.
Currently, she’s employed as a Wellness Program Coordinator where she develops programs and offers services that will positively impact organizational health.
She is a member of the Baltimore Metropolitan Chapter of Black Nurses Rock, co-organizer of her local GirlTrek walking group, co-chair of the Healthy Lifestyles committee for the Harford County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and has contributed several articles for BlackGirlHealth.com.
Valerie is a firm believer that with the right tools and resources, everyone can unlock the door to their health and wellbeing.
